108. Beach Tennis USA's Charleston Open

The Buzz -- Beach Tennis USA®, the organization responsible for launching the sport of beach tennis in North America, will hold its Charleston Open, Saturday and Sunday, August 22 and 23 at The Windjammer, on 1008 Ocean Blvd
in Isle of Palms, SC. Players from all over the country are set to compete for the $1,000 first-place prize, plus a guaranteed spot in the 2009 Beach Tennis USA National Championship in Long Beach, New York, September 5-6. The thrilling play will begin on: Saturday, Aug 22 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Junior and Amateur tournament 2:00 p.m. – Men’s Pro Division pool play Sunday, Aug 23 9:00 – 12:00 p.m. – Coed Doubles tournament 9:00 – 5:00 p.m. – Open play for Amateur and Junior Divisions. The two-day event will conclude at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday night with an after-party at The Windjammer.
