Excellent!
Basil is great! The food is absolutely excellent and a great value. My masaman curry was large enough to feed two easily, and I love curry! Most entrees are $15.50, there are some lovely appetizers to get you started, and some excellent beers on draft. The only downside is the noise -- the restaraunt is small and gets VERY loud at times.

Went here a couple months ago. Food was better than your average non-authentic Thai restaurant. (I was told there was one Thai chef when I asked). The service was deplorable! From being sat at a dirty table by our hostess, to our waitress wiping down the table with a dirty rag whilst we were still eating--it was a disaster! Put simply, I felt unwelcome because of the rude reception by the FOH staff. Take-out? Maybe. Dine-in again? Never.

Best Thai food I have ever had. Huge dishes – enough to share. They are always busy, so don't go starving or go early. One of my top 5 places to eat in Charleston, SC!
