7. Historic Rosedale Plantation

This completely restored home is a perfect example of a Federal style home. Built in 1815 when austerity was the norm, the bright yellow trim and bright white paint were the talk of the town. Today, the imported French wallpaper is still intact, and the grounds are resplendent with small to medium size gardens and several living ponds. Tours are available by appointment only.
