UPTOWN. The stained glass windows of this restored building originally came from Little Rock AME Zion Church. Through these hallowed windows, you can see and hear the rich and historical exhibits that have become a showcase of African-American heritage. A theater, art gallery and amphitheater are venues for an ever changing, exciting array of culture. (© 10Best) In addition to several galleries for artwork here, an outdoor amphitheater beside the former-church hosts concerts. The third floor of the structure contains a small theater, which offers an ideal environment for a variety of performances. You'll see a range of artistic expressions, from world-class paintings to a patchwork quilt made by local schoolchildren. Poignant and powerful, the center never gets heavy-handed with its message, it simply seeks to inspire.
