Great little area just 10 minutes west of Charlottesville ... cluster of 4 wineries, all with tables to picnic. This one has wonderful wines, cute shopping and great 15 minute film of winemaking in the winery itself.

Located about 15 minutes from Charlottesville off 29 south, it is a beautiful drive and just as you are wondering where the heck you are going, you burst out into a beautiful sight of terraced vineyards. Great for a picnic – beautiful landscaping and lovely wine tasting room and lovely wines.

Wonderful winery about 20 minutes south of Charlottesville. Beautiful views and great place to picnic. Go to the website for directions - DO NOT USE MAPQUEST FOR DIRECTIONS as it will put you on a terrible old road - use the directions from highway 29

Very pretty setting just about 10 minutes south of Charlottesville on 20 South. Beautiful winery with lots of tables inside and out for a picnic lunch. Wine dinners. Great wines. Good to taste on your way down to check out Scottsville on the James River.
