The Buzz -- Held at various locations around Charlottesville, this university-sponsored film festival celebrates a different theme each year, from 1990's "Music and the Movies" to 1995's "U.S. and Them." Included in the festival are, of course, screenings of classics and new films, acting workshops, and Q & A sessions with directors, actors, film scholars, and others associated with the industry.
