DOWNTOWN.
Boasting one of Hooville's most impressive selections of house-brewed beers, including World Beer Cup gold medalist, JP Ale, South Street is a trendy meeting place for downtown's youngish professional crowd. The pubby atmosphere is punctuated by a cozy two-way fireplace, shiny beer-making equipment that's tucked behind exposed brick walls, a bar area with televisions tuned to sports events, and friendly service. South Street sometimes features live music.

This brewpub is based on the 'don't care' attitude. They do not care if you are satisfied with your visit. Even though their food and service are POOR, they act like they don't want to sell their somewhat flavorfull beer. Their growlers are the one-liter size 'pin-head' size and get filled at 5 dollars each (while the most popular 2-liter growlers get filled at 10 dollars -- an outrageous price for so-so beer). Cigarette smoking is allowed but "don't even THINK about lighting a cigar" is what I saw printed on one of their menus once. Wait staff tends to be ignorant and RUDE!

The food was decent; however, I had the WORST dining experience at this place. Horrible customer service is all I got to say. Will never return.

While the beer here is pretty good, and they have some nice daily specials, the bar is chronically understaffed. Don't be surprised if you have to wait 5 minutes or more before a bartender even acknowledges your presence.
