3. Club 216

Having traveled from Utah, i can honestly say i have never been more surprised as to the treatment i received when walking up to Club 216. I was first approached and asked, "Do you have a membership," i replied no, but how much is one, and i was turned away and told that i would have to beg someone in line two hours into the future to sponsor me, since when do we as gay individuals need to be sponsored to have fun, this is crap! I will never return to this place they call a club, the treatment was horrible. If this is the best this area of Virginia has to offer, i pitty any gay individual who seeks any type of fun here. If i lived here i would consider putting a "REAL" gay club here. Salt Lake City may be conservative but i can honestly say they have a "GREAT" nightlife, come out and visit, you will be treated right.

Club 216 is the best place to be in Charlottesville when the sun goes down...it's alive and w/ go-go dancers, queens and other beautiful people it's the happening place to be.
