THE CORNER.   This classic Big Apple-style deli, which specializes in sandwich combos, has been catering to campus lunch appetites and late-night cravings since the mid-1970s. Comfortable, although a tad noisy, the deli is a great place to pick up on local gossip or just read the paper over the turkey-and-sprout-heavy Blue Max, the club- and cole slaw-inspired Five Easy Pieces, or the monstrous Sampson and its 12 glorious inches of roast beef, turkey, horseradish mayo, and Thousand Island dressing.   (© 10Best)
