MIDWAY.   Tight fairways with overhanging trees make getting off the tee vital to scoring well on this challenging Donald Ross course. Rolling fairways result in uneven lies for approach shots to small, very quick greens. Guarded by a number of bunkers, greens can mean trouble. A test and a great membership and tradition Challenging, tough, greens are slick and humpbacked, so very tough to handle. Membership is the best in Chicago are with a long tradition and golf at its finest.
