Once acclimated, just name an activity, and plenty of options leap in your direction. An admirer of Frank Lloyd Wright? Two of his Chicagoland homes, Robie House and Oak Park, are open to visitors. Instiutions like the venerable Field Museum are top destinations for many tourists. For birds-eye perspectives of the city, the observation levels of the Hancock Building and Sears Tower have few peers. Horticulture aficionados find that Garfield Park Conservatory, Lincoln Park Conservatory, and other public gardens offer displays of rare and beautiful flora; meanwhile, kids and animal-lovers adore award-winning Brookfield Zoo. During your downtime, visit ultra-modern Millennium Park and its stunning "Crown Fountain. And, of course, a jog or stroll along Lake Shore Park is a must. You wont find a more postcard-perfect view of the skyline just be careful crossing busy Lake Shore Drive.
