The Buzz -- Perhaps best known for its magical Christmas village, the historic community of Long Grove actually counts as its most popular annual event the Strawberry Festival. Drawing in nearly 50,000 visitors, this three-day event is as sweet as the berry. Expect every type of strawberry treat you could ever imagine, and then try as many of them as possible! To accommodate the brat and beer crowd, a tent will be serving those delights too. In addition, local shops will be open, and specials are sure to tempt all shoppers.
