The Buzz -- With Chicago's sweltering July heat, you'll want to celebrate with people who know how to party when it's hot! Soak in Afro-Caribbean culture by listening to top artists performing reggae, steel drums, gospel, and calypso across two stages of non-stop rhythm! Eat your fill of delicious foods of the culture, and get active at the various crafting stations and activity areas. Celebrate to health – that's what this festival is dedicated to! Note: Festival organizers suggest that attendees enter the park at 55th Street and Cottage Grove Avenue. |

Today, along with several historic buildings, the urban park has baseball, tennis, and swimming facilities, as well as a fitness center. A playground and plenty of paths for jogging and biking also provide opportunity for recreational fun, and city festivals often grace the park as well. |
