The Buzz -- Chicago's newest annual festival celebrates the fluffy white stuff, giving folks plenty of good reasons to venture out into the cold. The sophomore event sees the continuation of an amazing snow sculpture competition – teams from around the Great Lakes (and further afield) start with plain blocks of packed snow and craft all sorts of whimsical, beautiful, detailed sculptures. The festival also offers dog sledding and snowboarding demonstrations, numerous activities for kids, and an abundance of hot chocolate. |
