The Buzz -- Grab your paper and head over to Garfield Park Conservatory for Origami Open House, a monthly drop-in gathering presented by the Chicago Area Origami Society. Expert folders are on hand to guide you as you create little paper masterpieces: birds, flowers, boats, seals, and other nifty forms. It's amazing that with just a few precise folds, a flat sheet of paper can become a stylized piece of artwork. Adults and supervised kids are welcome. |
