The Buzz -- Considered one of the world's premier jazz orchestras, Chicago Jazz Ensemble presents stellar concerts that even the most diehard jazz aficionados appreciate. For this January performance, part of the American Heritage Jazz Series, the much-heralded, 21-member band pays tribute to two legendary jazz artists, Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong. It'll be a toe-tapping evening of big band classics like Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World" and pieces from the Ensemble's library of Ellington greats. |
