2. Funky Buddha Lounge

RIVER WEST.   Local artist Suhail's giant steel Buddha marks the entrance to this cool spot. Leather and faux-leopard seating areas run the length of the main bar in the dark Moroccan/Middle Eastern-inspired den. Two bars, a cozy VIP section, and a small dance floor are packed nightly. Cosmopolitans are the house specialty. Buddha also has some of the best DJs in town. Check out Jesse de la Pena on Wednesday and Saturday and percussionists Ya Ya and Yamcouba on Fridays.   (© 10Best)

This place is incredible. Never lets you down when it comes big names MCs and DJs. The wines are incredible, mostly organic and tasty. No pretentious people, except for the one waiting outside to get in. this place is cool, without needing to be told they're cool.

A lot of hype for this place. Its a good place to go once for the experience. It’s not too big and bars are crowded. VIP area is o.k.
