When I see people rate this place 1 or 2 stars, I just shake my head. They obviously don't understand fine dining. No way could you leave this place hungry. Every bite here is amazing. Can't wait to go back.

I ate at Spiaggia last night with co-workers after a conference. I was never so disappointed. First of all, I don't know what part of Italy they are cooking from, but I've been to Italy several times and I've never heard of half the food that was on my plate. They talked us into the Tasting and it was a mess. Good grief. For $165 per person, I left there and had to stop for food on the way home. I wouldn't go back there again if they paid me to eat there. They were rude, unfriendly and there was no reason for it. Food was horrible and the smallest portions I've ever had.

Very high end. We walked up and saw a couple dressed for a formal affair waiting to get in. We had been shopping on Michigan Ave's magnificent mile. We could not eat in there. We did not have on jeans but were directed to the more casual cafe. Menu was not ordinary but odd and unusual cuisine. We decided to leave.
