Indian Garden at 247 E Ontario
This restaurant undoubtedly serves the most scrumptious food ever! It is indeed a treat for the taste buds! There is no other place that comes even close to recommending when it comes to Indian food! Each and every aspect of this restaurant has been well thought over! The minutest of details are taken care of! The dishes it seems are the perfect recipe put together, the drinks are just the right mix, the decor makes you feel like you're in Little exotic India and the people who serve you do it with a smile! Your day will be made if you find the owner walking around! Her personal attention and suggestions are a 'must have'!!!! Trust me people try it! That would make you realise how awesome a place this is!

My wife and I used to frequent this restaurant -- and I even went there for my bachelor party dinner before I got married. But in the past few years the quality of service has plummeted, the portions have become smaller and a lot more expensive, and the overall dining experience has been awful. At one point, we even saw the sauces from one table being re-used for another! Yrrch! We were so disgusted we wrote to the City of Chicago's health department (of course, this is Chicago, so we got no response whatsover). I would avoid this place at all costs; if you want great Indian food, go up to Devon Avenue or look elsewhere in the city. One of the great disappointments of my dining "career".

So glad we found it....a hidden gem. Service was very good, food was unbelievable. Eaten at alot of Indian Restaurants in different states in the 6 years we have been over from England and this ranks No.1 for us. We'll be back soon.
