Big Disappointment
Had been really looking forward to trip to Chicago and trying the er...'famous' deep dish pizza. Plain and simple...deep dish pizza sucks. Tried Lou Malnati and Giordano...neither of them lived up to the hype. Not enough cheese on Lou's...not very 'deep' either...and the topping options are very limited...a "combo" pizza was non-existent. Really bummed by taste.

Lou's is the one and only Chicago style pizza. Everyone from out of town talks about Gino's or even Uno's, but Chicagoans really know where to go. Get a sausage deep-dish with a butter-crust. It'll come out looking more like a tomato pie left in the oven for too long... and then you'll taste it. Wow. I've lived all over the country and still have Lou's freeze-dried delivered to my door. They're that good. Out of towners can barely finish one piece and scoff at the idea of eating pizza with a knife and fork. If you are looking for a foldable sissy slice of pizza, go back to New York jerk! This pizza will put hair on your chest then beat you in arm wrestling.

My wife and I tried this restaurant. We were looking for a authentic Chicago style pizza for a quiet in room meal. I must say we enjoyed our deluxe pizza very much. The staff was very helpful and had our pizza ready at about the time they promissed it to us. They even provided the plates, forks and knives. We will absolutly refer this Lou's to our friends and will be back for more.

I live in Minnesota and recently went to Chicago. One of the main things we wanted to do was try some of the famous deep-dish pizza. So we looked up places online and found Lou Malnati's was "one of the best." I just have to say im am greatly dissapointed. The putrid taste of the crust is still in my mouth! I would say this is the worst pizza i have ever eaten BY FAR, and i love pizza!

My family loves your pizza. Have tried several locations and always happy with food and service. Why don't you expand to Northwest Indiana? You would be a big hit.
