GOLD COAST.   Famous for serving tasty frog legs, this restaurant is owned by the same folks as Gibson's Steakhouse next door. The menu at Hugo's focuses on seafood, and fresh deliveries are made several times a day, but you can order a steak from the neighboring kitchen if you're in the mood. If you're having difficulty selecting, know that mesquite-grilled mahi mahi, pan-fried walleye pike, and whitefish all make excellent choices. A nautical theme and three separate dining areas also distinguish Hugo's.   (© 10Best)

Horrible. Very disappointing.
I gave this restaurant one start because the service was ok. My husband and I had dinner at Hugo's Naperville for our 4th anniversary. I had the Sworfish, my husband the Seabass. The least I can say is: BAD. For my grilled swordfish side came some sort of hash potatoes with horrible taste, the fish sauce tasted like bad mayo. My husband's seabass was supposed to come with sweet peas, it turns out the peas were smashed and had no flavor at all. His seabass portion was a baby one. By the way, they had no kids menu. We had dined before at Catch 35 Naperville and had multiple excellent experiences but wanted to try something new. We trusted the 10best rating and that was a mistake. On that list should be places like Bob Chinn's, 35th street Chinn's and of course Mc Cormick and Schmick. Also Ra sushi has great non-sushi fish entrees. Will never go back to Hugo's, would rather eat at Mc Donald's.
