8. USS Cod

The USS Cod was part of the fleet of submarines employed by the Navy during World War II and functioned as a Naval Reserve training ship. Now it's the focus of an informational tour, led by sailors who have served on submarines. As you go below, step back in time and climb through hatchways and up ladders for a brief glimpse at military life. The USS Cod is a must for anyone who can go up and down the ladders of a SUB. There are narrow halls and small rooms but it is totally cool. A walk down history I would recommend!
