This dramatic, waterfront museum, designed by I.M. Pei, houses the greatest collection of rock and roll memorabilia in the US. Guests can browse interactive exhibits, archives, and materials from many songwriters, performers, producers, and disc jockeys who pioneered the predominantly American musical genre. Popular attractions at the shrine include rock-related films, Janis Joplin's Porsche, and handwritten lyrics by Jimi Hendrix.
