This hip restaurant serves up seafood with an Italian flair and doesn't discriminate between northern or southern styles. Mussels, escargot, grouper and mahi mahi are capably prepared for dedicated locals who eagerly devour the tasty results. The place is located in a frame house and offers terrific views of the Flats. The decor isn't fabulous, but the food more than compensates.

For classic continental dishes of veal, beef and pasta in an elegant, clubby atmosphere, Johnny's simply can't be beat. Consistently rated tops in Cleveland, Johnny's sumptuous northern Italian dishes are memorable, as is the nostalgic, art-deco dining room. Light-as-air pasta and famous gnocchi in garlic cream sauce are served up in substantial portions. Reservations highly recommended. Dress is business attire.
