The massive church has roots dating back to the eighth century and has been an integral part of the city's history. The massive structure is both beautiful and awe-inspiring. The interior features a range of historic and religious artifacts. For the adventurous, walk to the top of the spire and look over the city. The climb is a definite workout, but the views of Cologne and the Rhine warrant the effort. Truly a must-see for anyone in the city.
