4. Miramont Castle

Built in 1895 by a wealthy French priest, the Miramont features nine styles of architecture, 46 rooms, and stone walls that are two feet thick. Over the years, this four-story structure has served as a sanitarium and an apartment house. Visitors get a chance to tour the castle and other exhibits on the property, which includes the Montcalm Chapel, miniature exhibit, and the tearoom.   (© 10Best)
