OLD COLORADO CITY.   If you are traveling from the South, or just want a taste of Southern dining while in the Springs, check out The Mason Jar. A working fireplace adds to the homey feel, where service with a smile is the norm. Homemade veggie soup is tasty, and the fried chicken came to the table screaming hot. And the drinks are served in, you guessed it, Mason Jars. This is a totally casual family dining experience.

My family visited the mason jar and unfortunately our food was overcooked and the waitress didnt feel the need to address our needs.. So in essence our first and only visit was a bomb.
