Its rustic yet elegant setting within a mansion with English Tudor and Arts & Crafts styling offers romantic views of the mountains and Manitou Springs. Craftwood's eclectic cuisine centers on wild game and fish; favorites include pecan-crusted red deer, roasted loin of antelope, salmon filet crusted with chevre and cotija, noisettes of caribou, and tenderloin of bison topped with garlic and cotija. A selection of beef steaks and chops, as well as vegetarian options, rounds out the menu. Tempting desserts provide the perfect ending.   (© 10Best)

This place was great! My husband had the Wild Grill with Elk, Antelope, and Deer and I had the Game Birds with Quail, Ostrich and Duck. They were both fantastic! The ambiance is also amazing, we ate near a window and had a perfect view of Pikes Peak and the surrounding mountains. Service was good too, we felt special with so many people taking care of us. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like to go out for a special night, we certainly had one.

My wife and I were dispointed with our dinner. Maybe our expectations were too high? The expereince wasn't awful, but it did not meet our expectations for the hipe we read in advertising and the price of our meals. There are much better expereinces for less money. It seems the management has an inflated idea of what they present to the public. I would rather go to Texas Steak House for fewer dollars or the Northwoods Inn if there was one around here. Independent resturant owers have a lot to learn about vaule and service and quality well maintained atmosphere

One of the worst meals I have ever had in Colorado (or anywhere)...my duck was burned to a crisp. Very expensive for the quality.
