The setting is a rustic yet elegant English Tudor/Arts and Crafts style mansion that offers romantic views of the mountains and Manitou Springs. The eclectic cuisine centers on wild game and fish; favorites include pecan crusted red deer, roasted loin of antelope, salmon filet crusted with chevre and cotija, noisettes of caribou, and tenderloin of bison topped with garlic and cotija. A selection of beef steaks and chops, as well as vegetarian options, rounds out the menu. Tempting desserts provide the perfect ending to this "true Colorado" dining experience.

Traditional New Mexican cuisine and a relaxed and colorful ambience make this a Colorado Springs favorite. Blue corn tortillas, chiles, black beans, and posole accompany most entrees, but if you prefer yellow corn tortillas and pinto beans, those are available as well. The chile verde is truly excellent.

DOWNTOWN. Located in the historic Alamo Building and famous for some of the "best martinis in town," Mackenzie's serves up some great steak options, too. The room is sharp in appearance with wood and stone walls, yet comfortable with plenty of soft lighting. As well as a night spot, it's also a great place for a business lunch.

DOWNTOWN. SItuated in the historic Cheyenne Building, this popular spot is yet another great option for those looking for brewhouse hangouts in the Springs. It is also one of the most popular restaurants in the city and is credited for contributing to the downtown revitalization. You can sit anywhere and benefit from the huge windows that afford great views of the mountains and downtown. It's usually busy, which means noise, but if you are visiting a place like this, you'll probably be making some noise of your own as well. The second floor is devoted to pool, with twelve tournament style billiard tables, a jukebox, another bar, and great views. Have fun!

DOWNTOWN. Although The Ritz is one heck of a nightspot in which to hang out, socialize and hear good music from a very impressive house sound system, their food (especially the sandwiches) is worth mentioning as well. Locals love the bar, which is the center point of the room.
