OLD COLORADO CITY. Have you ever stopped by a restaurant simply because it was crowded, and you wanted to see what was luring so many to one place? This place gets so busy it needs a revolving door, yet you'll be seated and served efficiently. This unassuming little spot serves up all the usual breakfast favorites in a cozy (yet somewhat smoky) dining room, or outside on the street corner patio, which is excellent for people watching and affords great views of Pikes Peak and businesses along the street.

OLD COLORADO CITY. It would seem that the "open-a-restaurant-in-your-house" (or at least "a" house) craze is catching on. This old converted house is divided into several dining areas, including one on the porch that has been enclosed. Breakfast specials daily. Homemade pies by Mom include rhubarb, chocolate, and coconut.

DOWNTOWN. Tofu scramble? Honey yogurt pancakes? The downtown location of this Springs favorite prepares these and other breakfast selections in a relaxed, open room. Ask for a booth; each has its own awning. Kids ages 7-12 eat free Mon-Thu with the purchase of an entrée.
