THE VISTA.   With four floors of exhibits focusing on art, cultural history, natural history, science and technology, the South Carolina State history museum in Columbia, SC is a great destination for adults and kids. This Columbia museum is easily among the largest in the Southeast. It was originally a textile mill that was the first of its kind to be run only by electricity, in effect making the entire building an exhibit unto itself. This is one of the best museums in South Carolina. It's exhibits are informative and interesting and it's a great place to spend the afternoon.
