THE VISTA.   The sight of 40-foot-tall (sitting down) Eddie alone is worth coming to this children's museum in Columbia, SC. Kids and their parents are welcome to climb over, around, and inside this giant replica child, something that can’t be done at most any traditional children’s museum. I've been to EdVenture twice with family and always have as much fun as my 3-year-old nephew (I'm 23). The interactive exhibits allow for endless fun, and the free-flowing floor plan lets kids easily move between exhibits while parents can keep an easy eye on them. There's also a separate, quieter toddler room for younger kids to enjoy.
