The Columbia, SC nightlife landscape is dominated by the college life. Which means, whether you're looking for a place that's relaxed and cosmopolitan or a rowdy and loud bar, Columbia, SC has it. Most of the nightlife is centered in the Five Points and Vista districts, which border USC, but there are good alternatives further afield, too. Sleek cocktail lounges are becoming quite trendy – check out Gervais & Vine, Delaney's Speakeasy or The Blue Martini for a hit of sophistication. Live entertainment is on tap at several spots around town, including jazz and blues at Mac's on Main, acoustic and Celtic sounds at Delaney's Pub, rock at Headliners, and everything from spoken word to world music at Art Bar.
