3. Dianne's on Devine

Perhaps the best dining experience we can recall
Pulling up to the curbside valet parking, the presentation of Dianne's is reserved, intriguing, and classy. Entering the dining room, the vista is a perfect balance between simplicity and eyecatching details. The bar, to the left, sets the same elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. Everyone working at Dianne's the night we were there was warm and engaging, yet not overly familiar (very respectful and very friendly), attentive, unobtrusive, observant, engaging. As you might gather, we were captivated. We ordered the $50 per couple special, quite an astonishing bargain given the choices, portions, presentation, originality, execution, and flavor. That special includes a $10/bottle discount on wine orders. Each of us had four courses, so sixteen courses were brought to our table. The food ranged from outstanding to phenomenal. None of us could finish our entree, perhaps the ONLY criticism is that the portions were a bit generous ... but I'm not complaining. We will travel from Calif specifically to eat at Dianne's on Devine, it is THAT GOOD! If you are within a hundred miles of Columbia, please do yourself a favor and visit this place.

A little on the pricey side but worth every penny. I've been several times and have never been disappointed in the food or the service! For a special occasion this is the place to go!

Used to live in Columbia and frequented Dianne's. Miss the old town and my visits to this restaurant with Cola. FD constituents. A rare and wonderful place.

I moved here 5 years ago from Ohio and this has been and continues to be my favorite restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere is exceptional. My children even love to go to Diane's.
