 EDITOR REVIEW: DOWNTOWN. A picturesque Queen Anne style home, Rose Hall was built in 1898. The four guest rooms are Victorian charmers, with antique furniture, ornate fabrics and wallpapers, and floral rugs and pillows. Guests are treated to a wonderful breakfast in the dining room each day, and the hosts maintain a fully-stocked refreshment area should you need a little between-meal sustenance. For trivia hounds: Charles Frazier (author of Cold Mountain) lived on the second floor of this house during his time as a grad student at USC.
