FIVE POINTS.   Known for its lively nightlife and its sometimes raucous public festivals (St. Patrick's Day and Halloween in particular), Five Points does indeed have its fair share of bars and clubs, but there's much more here. Shoppers can find wonderful, unique items at some of the city's most interesting shops, from skateboards and CDs to fine art and fresh flowers. There are numerous restaurants in the district as well – casual, upscale and everything in between. Individual business hours vary.
