Fontenay is a little gem of a shop on Devine Street, Columbia's premier tree lined retail district in the heart of historic Shandon neighborhood. One is spoiled for choice trying to decide which glorious hand knotted Persian rug to purchase. And there are regular new shipments of those, as well as unique antique and reproduction furniture. Crystal chandeliers, antique and contemporary art, along with the gallery of fine rugs and antique furnishings, create a fun and relaxed shopping experience. A favorite among local designers, and truly the most reasonable prices for such quality merchandise.
