 EDITOR REVIEW: Awesome, and well worth the 40 mile drive from Columbus to this incredible "Little Grand Canyon" in Georgia. Man-made due to poor farming practices, the soil has literally fallen away, creating deep colorful canyons. Walking trails (three miles, seven miles), camp grounds, and an interactive center are on this preserved site. A $2 per car fee (don't forget to pay and put the ticket on your mirror- they will ticket you otherwise!). Picnic sites all over the grounds. Wear your hiking shoes, you WILL get muddy on the creek beds at the bottom of the canyon. Look for the armadillos.
