Watch a movie at the Omnisphere Theater and then visit the Challenger Learning Center which has space craft reproductions. View planets, stars, comets, meteor showers and eclipses through powerful telescopes at the Mead Observatory which is attached to the space center.

This museum of American art and regional history is the largest in Georgia and one of the largest museums in the Southeast. There are 15 permanent collections and also traveling exhibition galleries of fine and decorative art. The museum also offers many educational classes, free programs and a space for student art in the Pound Gallery. An attractive gift shop is also on the premises.

Houses an extensive collection of Confederate navy art and artifacts.
