5. Kelton House Museum and Garden

This charming Victorian-era house, which was built in 1852, now showcases 19th century life in Columbus. Once an important stop on the Underground Railroad, as slaves could stay here and then cross the Erie to Canada and freedom. The home, run by the Junior League, is surrounded by well-tended gardens.
