4. Ohio Historical Center

This center is also the headquarters of the Ohio Historical Society, a facility that showcases Ohio's history from the ice age to the present and the flagship museum in the society's statewide system of 60 historical sites. This 250,000 square-foot structure is also home to a gift shop, 280-seat auditorium, and the society's Archives/Library, which includes the State Archives of Ohio. Other exhibits spotlight archaeology, as well as Ohio's plants, animals, geology, geography, climate and weather.   (© 10Best)
