2. Downtown Riverfront

A stroll down the sidewalks of Civic Center Drive between Batelle Park and John Galbreath Park showcases the Santa Maria, a children's park, memorials for firefighters and veterans, and flags commemorating the year each state joined the union. Starting at Batelle Park near Gay Street to the North and ending at John Galbreath Park to the South, the city has developed a connected greenway along the Scioto River. Galbreath Park includes modern sculpture, flowing fountains, and a large pool and is a popular lunch spot for downtown executives.   (© 10Best)
