DOWNTOWN. This restaurant and brewery, located on popular High Street, is a registered historical landmark that was built in 1897. It's easy to spot thanks to its turn-of-the-century, multicolored, Art Deco elevator façade. Inside, ornate ceilings, tile floors and polished banquettes add a sense of nostalgia. Finer dining occurs in the back with patrons enjoying house specialties such as jambalaya, steak frites and Pan-Seared Walleye. A rowdier crowd congregates at the front and enjoys house brews such as Procrastinator Dopplebock, a dark lager that makes you want to put everything else off until tomorrow.
