5. Frederiksborg Slot

This is an absolute must! A short traintrip from Copenhagen takes you to this fabulous palace with a fantastic location and great garden - I was truly amazed by the size, tha atmosphere and the huge collection of the museum. It is much richer than Kronborg Castle and much more regal than both Amalienborg and Fredensborg. Go there!
