EDITOR REVIEW: COPENHAGEN. Currently the seat of Danish politics, this palace is set on an island and has been rebuilt three times since it was conceived. The current, neo-Baroque structure, made of granite and copper, was completed in 1928. On-site are ancient walls of the original palace that Absalon built in 1167. Guided tours lead through Parliament and the Royal Reception Rooms. BUS: 1, 2, 5, 8, 9 |
