   EDITOR REVIEW:

HELSIGNØR.   Now a national monument, Kronborg Castle is believed to have been the inspiration for Elsinore in Shakespeare's "Hamlet." Located on the sound headed toward the sea, the Renaissance-style castle was built in 1577 by Frederik II and is now a repository of seafaring history. More than 25 rooms showcase a variety of artifacts, including furnishings and tapestries. An intimate tour of the castle dungeon is also available.
