ROSKILDE. The burial site of Danish royalty, this Romanesque cathedral dates to 1170. Built on the foundations of an earlier church, it features slim, copper towers and a three-nave basilica. The cathedral's royal door (located between its two west end towers) is opened only for funerals of kings and queens. Visitors must enter through a door on the south side.
