5. Copenhagen International Film Festival

The Buzz -- Denmark's annual film festival has earned high marks from critics and local cinema buffs since its inception in 2003. The 11-day event highlights European movies with a plethora of professionals from around the globe making special appearances at screenings and seminars. Within the main program are several themed series highlighting particular genres, countries and cultures.
