COPENHAGEN. This shop is the base for Denmark's Georg Jensen shops. Located next to the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain factory, it's the original point of entry for the museum. The shops are intertwined, offering a quick shot from one shop to the other. Offering some of the best silversmithing in the world, Georg Jensen also carries jewelry, candlesticks, pens, and silverware.

COPENHAGEN. This shop, otherwise known as "Ravhuset," carries amber and is located along "The King's New Harbor." As you climb the steps into the shop, you're greeted by a helpful, happy staff, who leave you free to wander around and check out the large, well-displayed selection of goods. Items range from small, carved Viking ships to amber pendants set in gold or sterling silver. The atmosphere is pleasant for browsing.

COPENHAGEN. This split-level shop offers a variety of duvets for all ages, and it's always packed! In fact, there's barely enough room to maneuver as you browse through hundreds of duvets. The helpful staff can help you make your selection from various styles and options, including white goose down or cotton. The stark, clean interior features high ceilings and hardwood floors.

COPENHAGEN. Paul Olsen carries a large assortment of pipes and hand-rolled cigars, many of which are imported from Cuba. The store also carries hand-carved Danish pipes and other signature accessories. The interior features hardwoods and high ceilings. Located next to Kaufmann's along the pedestrian shopping section of Strřget.

COPENHAGEN. This shop offers Rosenthal and Orrefors crystal, as well as glass and pottery by artists like A.M. Begou and Elisabeth Decobert. The shop rotates works to show a variety of goods. The modern exterior features picture windows, and the shop offers shipping outside of Europe and special deals on items purchased and shipped to the US.

COPENHAGEN. This shop is ideal if you're buying gifts for porcelain collectors or brides-to-be. Royal Copenhagen has a long history of quality workmanship, and its hand-painted porcelain is, without exception, lovely. View artists at work on the first floor, browse through art on the first and second floors, and sift through seconds for great deals on the third floor. Before making your final selection, enjoy a pot of tea and a slice of cake in the lovely tearoom, also located on the third floor.

COPENHAGEN. This shop stocks a large selection of glass by Royal Copenhagen Porcelain, Orrefors, and Lladró, to name but a few. The footprint is small, but a well-laid-out floor plan makes browsing easy. Displays are presented on glass shelves, and the simple interior doesn't detract from the merchandise. COPENHAGEN. This famous tobacco shop offers a large selection of pipe tobacco and cigars, along with other related products. Pipe smokers have been stopping here since 1864, and the shop also features a museum. It's located across from Illums Bolghis and the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain shop.
