CORNING. Impressive architecture and gracious furnishings – including a wealth of art, antiques, and Steuben glass – distinguish this wonderful, circa-1890 mansion. Guests are guaranteed a host of comforts, and amenities include large rooms with wireless Internet access, individual air-conditioning, and a delightful full breakfast. Parking is free, downtown is in close proximity, and the hosts are incredibly knowledgeable about art glass, especially that created in Corning. 4 rooms.

CORNING. Originally built as a Greek Revival home, this structure was renovated in English Tudor style in 1917. These days, the welcoming place offers Victorian flair, and rooms are furnished with antiques and period detailing. Private baths come standard, and a full breakfast is included. Two suites are available as well, and the downtown area is in close proximity. Plus, public areas include a summer porch and a cozy parlor that's perfect for socializing. 7 rooms.
